I absolutely love the lace border against the plaid. I'm not a fancy kind of gal, but this top makes me swoon. It is so different, they may have to make up a new category to place it in. When I have seen complex quilts exhibited, I have always wondered how long they took to produce and the process behind their creation. You have chronicled it for all of us to experience along with you. Everyday as you worked, you have had eyes peering over you shoulder anticipating what would come next. It's amazing how many people followed along and learned with you.
It's GLORIOUS! You've done it again. Bet it feels good to have all that stitching finished and you can just enjoy looking at it.
I love the structure you've built into this one...but what I really want is to see it from 2 feet away! For about 3 hours!
Me too!! I will be watching to see what the next step is towards the final finishes. Do you quilt it???!!!
Spectacular! I love the lace edge trim.
Can't wait to see this quilt get all the attention it deserves!
The lace trim is very pretty and appropriate on this quilt. Justfinishes it off. Gorgeous.HugsFredaB

the work on this is superb. So touching and I love that there's a picture of you in it. Is this for a show? It should be seen by many people. Love!
I hope you'll post lots of pictures, it's really beautiful, and I want to see more of the details. That beautiful lace border is a great touch.
